Dr. Daniel Nugent DC has been providing Chiropractic care for over 20 years since receiving his Doctor of Chiropractic degree in 2001 from Life University in Atlanta, Ga.
For the past 2+ years he has been serving the Raleigh, Durham, and Wake Forest area as the Head Chiropractor for the LifeClinic at Lifetime Fitness in Raleigh, NC before opening the first NuSpine Chiropractic Franchise in North Carolina in the Heritage community of Wake Forest, NC. He and his family are so excited to bring the NuSpine Chiropractic experience to Wake Forest because it will allow us to bring quality, convenient, and affordable Chiropractic care and Hydrotherapy in a clean, private, modern environment which will allow everyone to be able to access the kind of Chiropractic treatment they deserve.
Dr. Nugent’s experience and education have provided him with a mastery of many different Chiropractic techniques that he can apply to patients of all ages and sizes as well as providing gentle techniques when it is required. As a former collegiate ice hockey player, he began his Chiropractic career with an interest in sports injuries and helping athletes which led him to certification in Chiropractic sports injuries. He now enjoys working with youth athletes ages 5-18 years old, weekend warriors, and golfers of all ages as well as helping families experience a better level of health and wellness.
As a back pain sufferer since the age of 13, he knows the benefits that Chiropractic can provide to patients of all ages to keep them pain-free, healthy, and enjoying the best quality of life possible. Dr. Nugent believes in combining the benefits of Chiropractic, physical therapy, and massage to achieve the best outcomes for his patients. In his spare time, Dr. Nugent enjoys watching his son and daughter play baseball, softball, and ice hockey as well as exercising, hiking, and spending time with his wife Sherri, and their yellow lab Nitro. He and his wife reside in the Heritage community of Wake Forest with their two children who attend school in the district.

What Kind of Training Does a Chiropractor Have?
Chiropractic doctors go through a minimum of four years of schooling at a chiropractic college, generally preceded by an undergraduate degree in the basic sciences or several years of experience in a prior relevant health care field.
Students of chiropractic care must spend a minimum of at least 4,200 hours with their teacher, and a minimum of 1,000 hours of fully supervised clinical training with an instructor.
They learn the appropriate diagnosis and treatment techniques to help heal your body and restore it to its natural, fully functioning state.
