Dr. Josh Johnson is one of the doctors you’ll meet at our Riverton and Midvale locations.

With more than 10 years of experience, Dr. Johnson has worked in multiple clinical settings, seeing patients ranging from athletes to those in recent car accidents.

He loves offering solutions to patients’ health issues and says he sees every patient like “a puzzle. By doing so, I can figure out the root cause and offer a personalized treatment plan that will help them achieve their healthcare goals and live better, happier lives.”

Dr. Johnson is a Salt Lake City native. He began his studies at the University of Utah and would go on to earn his Doctorate of Chiropractic from the University of Western States in Portland.

In his free time, he is committed to the community as he volunteers for numerous sports programs as a coach for local elementary/middle/high schools. He loves to read, write, mountain bike, and binge-watch comedies with his three kids.

With nearly 40 years of experience treating patients, you're in good hands with Dr. Jay Yates.

His mantra: "the need for Chiropractic care is much like going to the gym. To reach your goals, put in the time or you won't get results.

Dr. Yates says, "When patients come to me with back problems, my motivation is to get them not only out of pain but also back to normal activity and function. As we say, pain is the last thing to appear and the first thing to go away. Feeling better is NOT being better."

Dr. Yates attended the University of Utah and BYU before earning his Doctor of Chiropractic degree from Palmer College of Chiropractic-West.

In his free time, Dr. Yates is passionate about sailing. He also loves participating in water sports and attending concerts and sporting events.

He believes chiropractic care is for anyone with issues they'd like to remedy and brings more than 20 years of chiropractic knowledge.

He says "seeing patients walk out better than they walked in" is his favorite part of the job.

One of his most memorable patients was a 2-month-old infant whose struggle with constipation was over after just one adjustment.

Dr. Westerman received his Doctor of Chiropractic degree from Life Chiropractic West. While in school, he met his most significant mentor, Dr. Waters, "who was always ready to answer questions with a practical method of making it work with both adjustments and in practice. His sense of humor always made learning from him more enjoyable and memorable."

In his free time, his many hobbies include hiking, visiting Lagoon Amusement Park and ghost hunting!
